My Work

MATTER VIDEO PRODUCTION – 2011 HIGHLIGHTS
Essentially, my reel for 2011:

QUEST FOR THE ONE & MONSTER FISH 2012
JANUARY 2012 – BEVERLY, MA – In my “free time,” I edited four episodes for Gowdy Productions. One for Monster Fish and two for Quest for the One. The series kicked-off the beginning of the year, with Monster Fish at 4pm ET on Outdoor Channel and Quest for the One at 10am ET on NBC Sports Network.

MATTER COMMUNICATIONS AUGUST SHOWCASE
NEWBURYPORT, MA – Working for Matter Communications, I get to produce a lot of interesting videos. This past August was a busy one, and I thought I’d write a “mega-post” with some of the videos we’ve created. Enjoy!

Joey Ciaramitaro is a lobster dealer in Gloucester, Mass., and the founder of the popular Good Morning Gloucester blog. In this video from Matter Communications’ Matter Chatter blog, Ciaramitaro shares tips on ways to engage readers, build an audience and create, as he would say, “a blog that doesn’t suck.” Video was produced in-house.

The PMDA Portraits of Love video is intended to share the personal experiences of one of the project’s military families and independent photographers from last year. By sharing their stories, other military families and photographers will be inspired to participate in the program this year the PMDA looks to continue to use the power of photography to help give back to the communities. This video was created and produced in-house and will be hosted on pmdaportraitsoflove.com and be distributed via social media.

DxO Labs: This video was developed to accompany the launch of the newest version of DxO FilmPack, a software product that emulates the look created by dozens of film stocks. The video is intended to demonstrate the artistic flexibility offered by FilmPack, the precision of its film emulations and the emotional impact of using a film look with digital images. The video relies on the words and experience of Falcon, a well-regarded photographer that has come to rely on the DxO FilmPack for processing every single image he produces. This video was created with third-party and pre-existing content, still images and video screen-captures, and lives on DxO’s website.

With its weekly Ask the Chef videos, Sea Cuisine is seeking to educate and provide actionable advice to consumers who are fans of seafood, but perhaps have some trepidation in preparing it at home. With very rare exceptions, the videos don’t even mention the Sea Cuisine brand overtly, as the series is meant to position the brand as a resource – through its executive chef, Owen Tilley, aka The Seafood Guy – as a resource for information that will keep consumers coming back and indirectly build goodwill for the brand. The videos serve as our regular Friday feature on the brand’s blog, “The Seafood Guy Shows You How,” and also live on a dedicated Seafood Guy channel on YouTube, which is actually where viewership is highest. This video is created and produced in-house; we produce approximately four Ask the Chef videos per month.

The New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) video is intended to demonstrate Sigma’s presence and involvement at an industry event. By working directly with the show’s coordinators, Sigma was able to generate a strong relationship with the organization, and bring attention to a great outlet for photographers. This video will be hosted on the NECCC website, in addition to Sigma’s blog. This video was created and produced in-house with the help of Jeffrey Griecci of MINT Films.

The Sigma Pros video was created to demonstrate the talent and industry expertise of Sigma’s lineup of professional photographers (Sigma Pros). This video showcases the Pros’ personalities, as well as their photographs and photo tips. Sigma’s goal in creating this video was to shine the spotlight on their Pros, “introduce” them to Sigma fans, and inspire photographers to pick up a Sigma lens or camera to begin their journey in photography. This video will live on the Sigma’s website. This video was created and produced in-house using Matter video, some third-party filming, Skype, and still images. The interviews were additionally captured by Jeffrey Griecci of MINT Films.

And finally, I wanted to share a recent Client Perspective Matter testimonial video. In this episode, Bob Hastings, Executive Director of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, talks about public relations challenges; choosing a PR agency and working with Matter Communications. This video was created and produced in-house and will live on Matternow.com.

Thanks for watching.

ISC 2012 MASSACHUSETTS
